NH3 source

NH3 source

NH3 from diluted ammonium sulphate and sodium hydroxide solutions

The NH3 source is an instrument to continuously produce pure NH3mixtures in humidified air with a flow rate of 0.5 – 2 l/min. NH3formationis based on the reaction of ammonium (NH4+)with NaOH indilutedaqueous solution in a temperature controlled stripping coil similar to a HONO source developed by Kleffmann et al. [[i]] showing fast time response of a few minutes.
